Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from Heaven.

Beliefs
We believe that the Creator, known as our “Father” has always existed, and is known as the “Ancient of Days”. He is the ONE the world today would refer to as “God”, the only self-existent and IMMORTAL being in the universe, and is the FIRST CAUSE of all that we see and understand. We obviously reject the false concept of “evolution”. (Romans 1:20)

The Father has a throne in heaven and along with the throne, there exist 24 elders and 4 living creatures. (Ezekiel 1).

The Father, at some point in time, created many angels. At some later time, the Father created the physical universe. (Job 38:7)

An angel named Lucifer was chosen to rule over the planet earth. His title was “King”. He resided on earth along with many angels. Lucifer created, under the direction or consent of the Father, plant-life and various animals. These animals are generally referred to as dinosaurs today. Their existence is based on the evidence found in fossils. (Ezekiel 28:14-19).
Lucifer reigned over earth for an indeterminate period of time but at some point he began to sin. He coveted the throne of the Father. This led to a Great War in the heavens that resulted in the defeat of Lucifer and the angels that followed him. They were cast back down to earth and remain there today. Lucifer’s title was not taken from him. His name was changed to “Satan” and the angels who followed him were called demons.

An Angel, the LOGOS, who became Jesus Christ, rose to the position previously held by Lucifer and became the messenger of the Father. He became the “right-hand” of the Father and did the work of the Father as He was directed. (John 1:1-3)

Jesus Christ recreated the earth to correct the damage done by the war between Satan and the heavenly hosts. (Genesis 1)

He worked for six days and refashioned the earth and created plants, fish, and animals. He created man, who was called Adam, on the sixth day.

He rested on the seventh day and blessed it and called it the Sabbath. (Genesis 2)

He then created Eve, from a rib of Adam.

He gave to Moses a list of 10 commandments that we believe are binding today. We understand that the definition of sin is the willful violation of these commandments. (Exodus 20)

He also gave to Moses certain statutes concerning Holy Days, which are to be observed. These are Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles, and the Eighth Day. (Leviticus 23)

True Bread follows the Observable New Moon calendar, which begins our months when the new moon crescent is first seen from the actual land of Israel. We do not go by local crescent observations as we live on a round planet and we must have one reference point for the planet and that point is the land of Israel. Observations are currently made from Israel by very experienced observers, with years of new moon crescent observations. We also rely upon these same individuals to conduct the annual “barley search” to help determine the beginning of the Holy year. True Bread rejects the man-made FIXED, calculated calendar with its included “postponements” as false doctrine. (Isaiah 66:22,23)

Other statutes include the listing of clean and unclean foods. This describes for us which creatures are suitable for food and which are not. (Leviticus 11)

We believe that Jesus Christ did forego his divine nature and was born to the Virgin Mary as a physical human.(Matthew 1:23)

We believe that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and that we should follow his example and live by his words. (1 Peter 2:21)

We believe Christ’s last days were as follows: The “last” supper occurred on the 3rd day of the week. He was arrested about midnight and taken to the house of the high priest. He was later taken before Pilate, then Herod, and then back to Pilate. It was afternoon when Pilate turned Jesus over to be crucified. (John 19:14) The soldiers took him to a hall and beat him and mocked him throughout the night. Jesus was brought out early the next morning, barely able to walk, to be crucified and he was nailed to a stake at 9:00 AM. At 3:00 PM he died and was placed in a tomb by Joseph of Arimathia and Nicodemus just before sunset on the 4th day of the week. After 3 days and 3 nights, the Father resurrected Jesus at sundown, on the 7th day of the week. He was not resurrected as a physical man but as a spiritual person who could pass through the wall of the tomb. He ascended into heaven 40 days later. Christ will return in like manner after the completion of 3 ½ years of the final tribulation and the completion of 6000 years since Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden, after the last seven years as described in the book of Daniel. (Matthew 24)

We do not believe in the traditional concept of “heaven” or “hell”. At death, the human unconscious spirit returns to the Father who gave it and the physical body returns to dust. The physical body will be resurrected in a future event, and the person will be brought back to life at this point to undergo conversion and the ultimate change to a SPIRIT form. Unconverted, incorrigible humans will eventually be cast into “hellfire”, or the Lake of Fire, at the end and be consumed. It will be as if they never had even existed. No human will be tortured eternally, as the Creator has no desire to torture people indefinitely, but wishes ALL would come to repentance. (Revelation 20:14,15)

We believe that the process of conversion involves being called and converted to the TRUTH of scripture. The conversion process involves true repentance for sins, the acceptance of the sacrifice of Christ for those sins and baptism in water, which symbolizes the voluntary death of our old man or old woman. After baptism, hands are laid upon the individual for the receiving of the Holy Spirit, which is given by the Creator. At this point, the person now has the downpayment of immortality and becomes a begotten child of their Father in heaven. (Acts 2:38, Romans 6)

We believe in bible study, fasting, praying and meditation are the methods of developing the very mind of Christ within ourselves, and that our conversion is a life-long process. Healing comes from he Creator as he chooses, and we believe in the miracle of divine healing and protection. True Bread takes no position on a person’s personal choice to visit medical professionals and feels that visiting Doctors is certainly a wise decision when circumstances dictate.

True Bread does NOT request money in any form, including tithes or offerings. If someone is so inclined to offer a FREE WILL gift to this work, it will be received with great thanks and appreciation and put to use ONLY in the furtherance of True Bread and our goals.

The Old Covenant was the offer of the PHYSICAL PROMISED LAND to the children of Israel, IF they diligently OBEYED the LORD.

The New Covenant is the promise of spiritual immortality if we follow the plan of salvation as found in scripture. (Romans 2:7)

True Bread believes in the validity of Biblical Prophecy as found throughout the entire bible. We take these Prophecies as LITERAL events that have occurred and will occur in the near future. We also believe in the actual physical RETURN of Jesus Christ to this very earth, to begin the Kingdom of His Father. Along these lines, we accept the validity of the ENTIRE bible, and the scripture found therein. While we know and understand that men wrote the actual words of scripture, we understand that scripture was given under the inspiration by the Holy Spirit as directed by the Creator and His Son, Christ. True Bread recommends the New King James Version, but leaves the final decision to the believer as to which version is preferred. (2 Timothy 3:16)

At the return of Christ, the first resurrection will occur and the dead in Christ will rise first, then those of the elect, the converted saints, who are still living, will be changed. They will all be born into the spiritual world with the gift of immortality. This is the second birth. (1Corinthians 15)

Following the return of Jesus Christ and the first resurrection will begin a 1000-year period called the millennium. Satan and the demon angels will be restrained during the millennium but will be released for a short time before the end. (Revelation 20:4)

Following the millennium, the second resurrection will occur. Every person who ever lived, who was not in the first resurrection, will be resurrected in a physical body to face the judgment of the Creator. This great body of people will include both young and old who never heard or understood the truth concerning Jesus Christ. They will have an opportunity for salvation during this judgment period. (Ezekiel 37)

Following the judgment period, The Holy City will descend out of heaven and will rest on the “new” earth. The thrones of the Father and the Son are within and every person whose name was found in the “book of life” will reside there, along with the holy angels. The holy city will be the headquarters from which the entire universe will be ruled and maintained under the direction of the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. (Revelation 21).
